From 11 September to 8 October 2026, scheduled works on the Maurienne railway line will result in a temporary interruption of rail traffic on this corridor.
To ensure the continuity of freight transport between France and Italy, T3M has implemented an adapted operating plan throughout the duration of the works.
An alternative route via Switzerland
Trains to and from Italy will be rerouted via Switzerland, allowing rail services to be maintained throughout this period :
- Reduction from 4 to 3 weekly round trips during the works period ;
- The first departure via Switzerland from Valenton is scheduled for 12 September ;
- Regular services via Modane will resume from 9 October.
Thanks to this temporary reorganisation, T3M continues to support its customers.
